Food leftovers are sometimes unavoidable, but with a little creativity and what is already available, you can turn them into healthy & tasty recipes, here's how.

Dal leftovers make the ideal batter because they are high in protein.  Simply combine with whole wheat flour, spices, and vegetables to make delicious pancakes or cheelas for breakfast.

If you have some leftover roti, you can make a tasty pan pizza from it; all you need are some veggies, cheese, and a spread of tomato sauce.

Sauté the leftover rice and some veggies with olive oil, garlic, and soy sauce. Add a scrambled egg or paneer for some protein, stir-fry in minutes, and your fried rice is ready.
