Start small; set your weekly goals, so instead of “I am working out every day,” choose three workouts that week. Doing it this way will help you build momentum and avoid burnout.

Choose a time to workout, and commit to that time like its a meeting. Wouldn't you commit to a meeting in your calendar whether in the morning, evening, or your lunch hour?

Don't put yourself through a workout routine that you detest. Dance, swim, jump rope, go for a walk, lift weights - it doesn't matter, but consistency increases when it’s something you actually enjoy.

Choose Activities You Enjoy

We feel more accountable to someone else when we workout with somebody, and it's more of a social & fun experience.

Try to establish a reward system - this could involve a weekly cheat meal, some new workout clothing, or even a Netflix episode after the workout as a treat. Having a reward helps reinforce the habit.

Consistency is based on habits not hype. Find what works for you, plan ahead, & when you slip, be kind & forgive yourself. Perfection is not required, but progress is.
