Cloves increase the production of digestive enzymes, which help in relieving bloating, gas, and indigestion. Drinking clove tea or chewing cloves after meals can help improve digestion.

Consuming cloves with warm water or simply sucking on them helps to get rid of toothworms. It also eliminates foul odours and gives you fresh breath by killing the bacteria in your mouth, tongue, and upper throat.

Cloves' antioxidants aid in liver detoxification and lower oxidative stress, which improves liver function. When taken in moderation, cloves may help prevent liver damage.

Clove's active component, eugenol, works to reduce blood sugar levels in the blood. Consuming about 1 to 3 grams of clove every day can assist persons with type 2 diabetes in managing their blood sugar levels.
