A parent’s guide to prevent burnout in their kids

Burnout is not just an adult's issue; peer pressure, fatigue, and stress take their toll on kids, too. Here's what you can do as a parent to help them navigate through it.

It is critical to have a regular sleep regimen in childhood since it fosters lifelong healthy and productive behaviors. Prioritizing 8 hours of sleep time helps children prioritize their physical and mental health.

A jam-packed schedule is a recipe for burnout. Give yourself at least an hour a day and weekend to engage in play or relaxation. Allowing kids to be bored encourages self-discovery and creativity.

The 'Unschudeled' Schedule

Children frequently have trouble juggling several obligations. Get together with them and plan out important tasks, tests, and events. Encourage them to divide things into small bites and set reasonable deadlines.

Excessive screen exposure can disrupt sleep and increase stress. Setting boundaries around screen time encourages healthier habits and better sleep quality.
