Include oats, apples, lentils, broccoli, or whole wheat bread. Fiber bulks up your stool and helps move it through the intestines.

Hydration helps. A large glass of water may trigger a bowel movement if you’re dehydrated.

Isabgol (Psyllium husk) with warm water or curd or ghee with warm milk at bedtime can help squeeze the intestines to force a bowel movement.
