6 tips for wearing sunscreen the right way

Sunscreen is your skin's first line of defense—but only when used correctly! Let’s get it right.

Sunscreen needs time to absorb. Apply it before stepping out—not after.

Apply 15–20 Minutes Before Sun Exposure

 Use about a teaspoon for your face and a shot-glass amount for your body to get full protection.

Don’t Skimp on Quantity

Sweat, water, and sun break down sunscreen. Reapply every 2 hours, or immediately after swimming or sweating.

If you sit near windows or use digital devices, apply sunscreen to protect against UVA rays and blue light.

Use It Indoors Too

Go for SPF 30 or higher, and make sure it’s broad-spectrum to guard against both UVA and UVB rays.
