Fruits are digested quickly while curd is digested much more slowly, causing the fruits to ferment in the stomach, creating bloating, gas & discomfort.

Since curd is acidic in nature, consuming with fruits such as pineapple or orange can increase acidity & mucus levels, making colds, sinus problems, & congestion much worse.

Curd contains probiotics while fruits have natural sugars. When combined, they cause a disruption to gut microbiota which can potentially cause inflammation, poor immunity & reduced absorption of nutrients.
