Calories do matter! If you are not tracking your nutrition you might be eating more calories than you are burning. The first step is to start tracking what you eat & balance protein, carb, & fat intake to optimize your success for workouts.

Only doing cardio? This is a big mistake! Strength training is incredibly important for building muscle, revving your metabolism, and allowing you to burn fat even while at rest.

You've heard it before, and it's true. Recovery time is regime and a rest day is just as important as a workout. Without appropriate recovery your muscles are unable to repair and grow, which leads to burnout and slower results.

If your workouts are all over the place, meaning sometimes you work out, sometimes you don't, well, guess what? You won't see results. Meaningful change takes a commitment, and commitment means being consistent with your exercise.

Being patient, consistent, & balanced are all key to seeing results. Properly track what you eat, mix your cardio & strength training, take rest days, pay attention to stress, & recovery is just as important. These are all keys to helping you see real progress.
