5 morning yoga poses to keep your child healthy

Yoga helps anyone to start the day fully with positive vibes. It also improves the physical & mental health of a child, if he/she start practing it, daily.

Here are 5 different morning yoga postures which are very beneficial for kids.

Standing tall with feet together, arms at their sides, focus on breathing steadily. Helps to boost energy of the body.

Mountain Pose

Kids balance on one leg & then place the sole of the other foot on the inner thigh, bringing their palms together at the chest. It enhances balance & concentration.

Tree Pose

Form an inverted V with hands & feet on the floor while assuming a downward dog position with hips lifted high. This pose strengthens the body overall & stretches the entire spine.

Downward-Facing Dog

Kids alternate between arching & rounding their back while on all fours. It increased flexibility of the spine warms up the body.

Cat-Cow Pose

The kids sit back on their heels, forehead touching the ground, with arms extended forward. It is a restful pose & calms the mind while stretching the back.
