Not every food is good for you. Some things you eat every day can slowly weaken your immune system and make you more likely to get sick. Be on the lookout for these five habits:

It's hard to say no to crispy snacks and fast food, but all that oil and trans fat can make your body weaker and more prone to inflammation. Don't make them a habit; only have them once in a while.

Sugar isn't only in sweets; it can also be found in drinks, sauces, and bread. It makes your immune cells work slower and keeps you from sleeping. Try to keep your intake below 30g per day.

Sodas, energy drinks, and cocktails are full of sugar and can make your stomach hurt. Too many of these can throw things off balance because that's where a lot of your immunity starts.

White bread, croissants, and quick noodles make your blood sugar go up and don't give you much nourishment. You may keep your energy and immune system stable by eating whole grains instead.

It's okay to have a steak every now and then, but too much of it can make inflammation worse. Add more beans, veggies, or fish to make it more balanced.
